steps - a springboard to leadership

For young people in Year 5, 6, and 7
Held at Mont Nicolle & St Luke's Primary Schools
Tuesday evening term time only
6.30pm – 8.30pm

Leadership Training is both informal and formal.
Young people are given many opportunities to lead through the organising of games and activities within the group as well as lots of outings and residentials.

As well as the practical element that builds confidence and self-esteem, the young people learn different leadership skills emulated from past and contemporary leaders.

Young people are encouraged to be more self aware and reflect on their practice as they discover their strengths and areas they need to work on.
Teamwork, collaboration and individual work all play a part in developing their leadership style.

We believe STEPS equips young people with skills they will need for 21st century living.
